I’m a writer who thinks in pictures.

Following the lead of greats like Stephen King and Anne Lamott, it’s not uncommon to find me writing (and doodling) away in a dotted notebook with a G-2 in hand.

I’m still naive enough to think that a good story has the power to change things. So whether I’ve got five words or five pages, I’m find the right one to tell to get results.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me sneaking cheese to Herbert & Sugar, discussing anime and art with my kids, or working with the hubs to refinish our 100-year-old cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
